Our meeting house is located in Sandy Spring, Maryland, close to the intersection of Olney Sandy Spring Road (Maryland Route 108) and Meeting House Road. Click on the map to browse.
From Columbia
Take US Route 29 South to Maryland Route 216. Turn right onto Route 216 going West and take it until it dead ends into Maryland Route 108. Turn left onto Route 108 South and follow it into Ashton. Go through the traffic light, past the Sherwood High School and Sandy Spring Museum. Turn left at Meeting House Road (at the blinking light). Sandy Spring Friends Meeting will be on your left about 0.1 miles in. Additional parking is available in the Montgomery Mutual Insurance Company's lot on the right just before arriving at the meetinghouse.
From Baltimore and points North
Take Interstate 95 South to Maryland Route 32. Exit onto Route 32 West and drive for about five miles to US Route 29. Exit onto Route 29 South and follow the directions from Columbia (above).
Take Route 108 east toward Olney, cross Route 97, Georgia Avenue, and proceed for about 2 1/2 miles to Sandy Spring. In Sandy Spring turn right on Meetinghouse Road (at the blinking light). After the narrow stretch, the road opens out into a parking area and circle for the Community House (white frame building) and Meetinghouse (red brick building) on the left.
From Washington, D.C.
Take any of New Hampshire, Georgia, or Connecticut Avenues north. If you take New Hampshire, continue to Route 108 and turn left. After approximately a mile, turn left into Meeting House Road. If you take Georgia Avenue, continue north until Olney and Route 108, turn right. Take 108 approximately 3 miles to Sandy Spring and Meeting House Road. Turn right onto Meeting House Road. If you take Connecticut Avenue, follow it north to Georgia Avenue and turn left onto it and follow those directions.
Directions to Friends House Worship Group
Friends House is in Montgomery County in the community of Sandy Spring. Take Route 108 to Norwood Road and look for sign.
Directions to Seneca Valley Preparative Meeting
From I-270 North: exit at Route 121 West to Boyds, then right on Clopper Road (Route 117). From I-270 South: exit at Middlebrook Road West. Turn left on Great Seneca Highway and right on Clopper Road (Route 117). At Boyds, take White Ground Road straight ahead at stop sign when Route 117 goes right. The church is on the left approximately 2/10 of a mile down White Ground Road. Park in the far parking lot. We will meet in the third (back) building, Kerr Fellowship Hall, on the second floor.
