Sharing Spiritual Journeys

Each member of a Quaker community comes to their understanding of spirituality, faith, and the Divine in a unique way. Sandy Spring Friends’ Sharing Spiritual Journeys program provides an opportunity for Friends to learn about the diversity of our faith community and the different paths each of us has taken to Quakerism.

On second Sundays in Community House room 204 and on Zoom, a new Friend will share her/his faith journey in their own words. This winter/spring, our Graveyard & Grounds clerk Mike Shick, Membership & Spiritual Care member Mike Bucci, and former Presiding Clerk Nora Fisher will share the important moments in their lives that led them to our community and their particular understanding of Quaker faith and practice.
